Summary

This short poem describes the weightlessness that fat people experience on amusement park rides.

Commentary

An interesting concept--that those obese people who have "a particular knowledge of gravity, ride the fastest and highest rides" because they can experience weightlessness occasionally as they begin to drop. They get "a release from the demands of earth"--demands which are more difficult for them to negotiate because of their weight.
